This is not recent.I actually took this early last year during a round of flooding
I’d ridden to town via a forest trail and didnt feel like going back that way.The bog holes were a bit too deep and with occasional slippery logs in those holes it wasnt much fun.
I tried going home via the main road ,which meant fording this flooded bridge.Damn,it wasnt low enough.
It would have come up to the seat and was fast moving.
Still not wanting to right back around the way i’d come i decided to try a new way through another forest.It work out but man it waslonger than i thought!
Long,muddy and with a rocky uphill.Not smart on a road bike...lol
Anyways i made it .Only crashed once too,and that was entirely my doing ,haha
I used to race dirt bikes,so couldnt resist upping the pace on the muddy trail.That v twin* engine sounds great under load.
It was pretty inevitable the useless sliding front tire would dump me in the mud.Never mind,only a cheap clutch lever broken.
Unfortunately that meant doing the rocky hillclimb much faster than i wanted. It must have looked a bit ragged!
Interesting trivia: Actually it’s a parellel twin.However with an offset crank that gives it the sound of a 90 degree V
